#1 – Component reduction - Waterproof PU
We applied our component reduction approach to this shoe by using waterproof PU. This durable material, inspired by the protective raincoats of fishermen, allowed us to reduce the number of components without compromising on performance. By eliminating the need for traditional waterproof membranes, which can wear out over time, we’ve crafted a shoe that offers long-lasting water protection and increased durability.
