We grew up knowing how to dress for the weather.

In layers, wool close to the body, protection against the elements on the outside. The comfort of being ready. And when the sun is out — that part is simple. So are we.

That’s the knowledge Kastel is built upon.

Autumn / Spring

A summer that turns cold and wet. A winter without snow, but full of rain.  2/3 of the time, the weather in Norway is unpredictable. With Kastel shoes, it doesn’t matter.

Winter

Winter weather doesn’t need explaining. We simply dress in layers. Wool for warmth, waterproof protection, and good grip to keep moving. We don’t wait for better weather.

Summer

Norwegian summers are short and precious.  We don’t take them for granted.
The same instinct that gets us out the door in January keeps us outside when the sun finally shows up. Light, breathable comfort — all day long.
